Dr. Maggie (Chiropractor)
Dr. Maggie McKeough, Chiropractor & Co-Owner of Bee Well IHC is a graduate of The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), magna cum laude and has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Saint Francis Xavier University.
Dr. Maggie has obtained additional training in functional integrated acupuncture, webster technique (pre-natal) and paediatric chiropractic treatment, integrated movement patterning and lumbar spinal stenosis bootcamp method. Dr. Maggie uses trigger point therapy, spinal manipulative therapy and functional integrated acupuncture/ dry needling along side education and rehabilitative exercise to get you moving pain free and often!
Maggie is a movement enthusiast with a background in sports and fitness teaching. She is 200hr yoga teacher training certified including additional training in pre-natal yoga and she is also a certified spin instructor. Maggie spent two years as the Athletic Trainer for the Dalhousie Ringette Team from 2018-2020 and was a ringette player herself, including two years on the Nova Scotia Provincial Ringette Team. She is currently completing her post-natal rehab training through the GrowCo program for health care practitioners, keep an eye out for this upcoming class.
When Dr. Maggie is not working she’s often moving, whether that's fitness teaching, walking her dog, Brewer or home workouts. She also loves to spend time with her family and friends. Dr. Maggie and her husband Dr. Matt own and operate Bee Well IHC together. Fun fact about Dr. Maggie: in 2015 Maggie cycled across Canada on a road bike with three other Chiropractic students to promote health and Chiropractic to Canadian youth. The group, called Unleash Your Potential held presentations at schools, boys & girls clubs and YMCA’s along the way!
