Massage Therapy

What is Massage Therapy?

Massage therapy is the hands-on manual manipulation of the soft tissues of the human body. These tissues include muscles, connective tissue, fascia, tendons and ligaments. Massage therapy helps to alleviate discomfort associated with occupational stresses, muscular over-use, repetitive strain, trauma and other musculoskeletal disorders, and is an excellent form of preventative healthcare.

What are the Benefits of Massage Therapy?

Whether your need is to have a moment of relaxation, reduce muscle tension, or attain relief from pain, a therapeutic massage can enhance your overall health and well-being. Massage works through supporting the body’s own healing process for both acute and chronic conditions, improving range of motion and circulation of the joints and tissues, and providing pain relief.
