Dietetics

What is Nutrition Counselling/Dietetics?

Nutrition counselling is an ongoing process where a registered dietitian works with an individual to assess their usual dietary intake, considering past medical history and current lifestyle factors to help identify areas where change is needed. The dietitian provides information, education materials, support and follow-up to help the individual create healthier habits for long-term change.
