Acupuncture
What is Acupcunture?
Acupuncture is a traditional East Asian medicine practice that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body. The goal is to alleviate pain, promote healing, and improve overall health by stimulating the body's natural healing process and energy flow. It is often used to treat various physical and mental conditions, and it's mechanisms include endorphin release and nerve stimulation.

Fire Cupping
What is Fire Cupping? Guasha? Moxibustion?
Cupping therapy uses heated glass cups to create negative pressure, this technique helps decompress sore muscles and the surrounding fascia. It lifts the dermis, boosts circulation, and may reduce lactic acid buildup, and aid in the healing of scar tissue.
Moxibustion therapy involves the burning of dried up mugwort leaves to stimulate the body's flow of vital energy and remove toxins. It can help to alleviate pain and inflammation from various ailments. The warm stimulation of moxibustion can dilate blood vessel, increase local blood flow, and improve microcirculation to relieve swelling and pain.
Guasha involves the use of a smooth tool rubbed against the skin to help move stagnation or break up fascia that is causing pain or inflammation. It can help improve circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, relieve tight muscles and improve overall immune function.

Acupuncture is usually a very comfortable treatment. The needles used are very fine and about as thin as a hair, making them quite painless upon insertion. Everyone experiences acupuncture differently but most feel only minimal pain if any. You may experience a mild aching sensation or warmth around the needle site.
