Dr. Claire Ferguson (Chiropractor)
Born and raised in Halifax, Dr. Claire Ferguson is thrilled to be back home after completing her chiropractic education. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph before graduating summa cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
During her time at CMCC, Claire was recognized for her academic excellence and dedication to her studies. She received the Gilbert H. Young Memorial Scholarship twice for achieving the highest academic standing in her year, as well as the Council of Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors Scholarship on two occasions as the top-performing Nova Scotian student. Claire was also awarded the Walter Sturdy Memorial Scholarship for the highest overall academic standing during the four-year program, and the Clinic Achievement Award for having the highest academic standing in Year 4.
Claire was drawn to chiropractic through her passion for helping others stay active and feeling their best. With a background in equestrian sport as both a rider and coach here in Nova Scotia, she brings a unique understanding of body mechanics, balance, and performance to her practice.
She provides patient-centered care that includes joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue therapy, integrated needling, and tailored exercise prescription. Claire is committed to helping her patients move with confidence—whether they’re recovering from injury, returning to sport, or working toward long-term wellness goals.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find Claire coaching horseback riding lessons, playing pickleball, or spending time with family and friends. She’s also an enthusiastic foodie who’s always on the hunt for new restaurants around Halifax.
